An interesting article. The notion of subjectivities rather than subjects may be worth considering relative to the topics or themes in the ELP. I think we are in many ways closer to subjectivities than subjects already, but recognizing this more explicitly may be useful as part of our reforms. That is, perhaps we can rethink our content-based approach as a questions-based approach. Mutual exploration of questions may be more engaging for students than just absorbing content.
